The Hendricks Family Foundation is pleased to award a three-year, $1 million grant to the Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs’ capital campaign, “Building a Better Future for Our Community,” announced Diane Hendricks, President and Chairman of the Board. “The Boys and Girls Club is the place where kids go. It’s a place where all kids can say I belong, I can succeed. And now is the right time. It’s time to invest in our kids and give them a new building.”

The “Building a Better Future for Our Community” campaign established a $5.5 million fundraising goal to support construction of a new, larger and more accessible facility in Beloit that will increase the clubs’ capacity to serve youth in the core program areas of education and career exploration, character and leadership, health and life skills, arts, and sports, fitness and recreation. Renovation to the existing facility in South Beloit is also planned.

Approximately $5 million has been raised to-date by the campaign. Construction on the new facility began in April and is anticipated to be completed, along with the renovations to the South Beloit facility, by December 2021. “We are truly humbled and grateful for the continuing support of the Hendricks Family Foundation.  This latest support will allow us to reach our goal of extending and expanding our impact on the lives of the young people in the Stateline Area.  Stateline Boys & Girls Clubs’ vision continues to align with that of the Hendricks Family Foundation in providing a greater future for our community and our young people,” said Mark Rand, Chief Executive Officer.
